Remote staffing
Hosted Remote Employees for Your Team
Hire full-time remote staff who work only for you while we handle workspace, equipment, HR and payroll. Same person daily, your tools, your instructions.

A freelancer performs well for six weeks, then becomes difficult to reach when another client offers more work. The alternative looks heavier: establish an entity in another country, arrange payroll, equip an office and learn an unfamiliar employment system before one person can start.
Hosted remote employees occupy a deliberate middle ground. OVELITHUB recruits and employs the person under the agreed local arrangement, provides the managed workplace, equipment, connectivity, payroll and HR administration, and assigns that employee full time to one client. The client interviews and chooses the candidate, directs the daily work, supplies the operating priorities and decides whether the assignment should continue under the contract.
This is a continuity model, not a pool of anonymous capacity. The same person joins the client’s meetings, uses the client’s approved tools and develops role-specific knowledge each working day. The division of responsibility must be clear before recruitment begins.
The gap between a freelancer and a direct hire
A good freelancer can be the right answer for specialist work, a bounded deliverable or changing hours. The weakness appears when a business treats marketplace availability as if it were a dedicated employment commitment. The individual may serve several clients, choose different working hours or leave at a project boundary. None of that makes freelancing defective; it makes the model unsuitable for some standing roles.
A direct employee offers a clearer organisational relationship and can be the strongest choice when the company already has an entity, local leadership and enough hiring demand to justify the infrastructure. Without those elements, the first overseas role can trigger a long sequence of payroll, workplace, equipment, banking, tax, insurance, benefits and employment questions. The buyer should obtain its own legal and tax advice; a services page cannot decide the company’s obligations.
Hosting separates daily role direction from local employment and workplace administration. It gives the client a named, dedicated team member without requiring that client to open an office for the role. In exchange, the client does not become the person’s direct local employer and cannot move the individual between countries, legal arrangements or materially different roles outside the agreed process.
What hosted employment means at OVELITHUB
The employee works full time for one client during the assignment. OVELITHUB is responsible for the employment relationship within the contracted hosting arrangement, local payroll administration, the physical workspace, the standard workstation, connectivity, workplace support and agreed HR administration. The client supplies the role, priorities, task context, tools, access, work standards and day-to-day feedback.
“Dedicated” is written into the operating model. The person is not quietly divided among client accounts to improve utilisation. Any training, internal OVELITHUB meeting, leave, workplace administration or emergency coverage that affects availability is handled under the agreed schedule and reported transparently.
The commercial agreement identifies the employing entity, work location, currency, working calendar, included equipment, hours and overlap, leave treatment, confidentiality terms, intellectual-property provisions, replacement process, notice, exit responsibilities and services fee. Each buyer should review the proposed structure with qualified advisers for the countries in which it operates. OVELITHUB does not describe this service as an employer-of-record product or imply that it resolves every cross-border legal issue.
The control split: your role, our employment and workplace
| Responsibility | Client controls | OVELITHUB controls or administers |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Purpose, outcomes, priorities, workflow, quality standard and approved scope | Role feasibility, local job structure and alignment with the signed brief |
| Selection | Interviews every finalist, requests further assessment and accepts or declines each candidate | Sources, screens, validates stated criteria and coordinates the selection process |
| Daily work | Assigns tasks, holds work meetings, reviews output and supplies role feedback | Maintains attendance, workplace support and the agreed account-management route |
| Schedule | Chooses required overlap and collaboration rhythm within the contracted limits | Administers the local work schedule, leave and workplace calendar under the arrangement |
| Systems | Chooses client tools, grants least-privilege access and owns its security policies | Provides agreed device controls, connectivity, physical environment and access offboarding |
| Performance | Defines acceptable work, gives task feedback and decides whether the assignment meets need | Handles employment communication and formal local HR action through the agreed process |
| Employment | Does not issue local payroll or employment instructions directly | Administers contracted employment terms, payroll and local workplace obligations |
| Exit | Requests assignment end under the agreement and confirms return of client work | Handles employment steps, device return, access coordination and final administration |

The line matters most when performance is weak. The client supplies examples, expected standard, priority and impact. OVELITHUB turns that evidence into the appropriate coaching or employment process. A client should not improvise disciplinary action through chat, and OVELITHUB should not judge work quality without the client’s role context.
Hosted employees compared with the alternatives
| Model | Where it is strongest | Continuity and control | Administration and exit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freelancer or marketplace | Fast access to specialists, flexible hours and bounded work | Availability may be shared; buyer controls deliverables but not a dedicated working day | Low setup, though knowledge transfer and sudden availability changes need planning |
| Project outsourcing agency | Provider owns a defined result, method or service level | Buyer manages the outcome rather than one named person; provider may rotate resources | Useful when the buyer wants less daily management; change and exit follow project terms |
| Direct hire through a local entity | Maximum organisational integration and a long-term local presence | Direct employment relationship and internal career path | Highest setup responsibility, but often the right investment for a substantial permanent operation |
| Hosted remote employee | A standing role needing one dedicated person and daily client direction | Named employee, agreed hours and client-led work; local employment remains with OVELITHUB | Predictable service arrangement, with less client infrastructure and a contractual replacement or exit path |
Hosted employment is not automatically the best option. Use a freelancer when the work is intermittent and individually specialised. Use an outsourcing agency when the supplier should own the process and result. Use direct employment when the company wants a long-term establishment and is ready to carry the local obligations. Use hosting when the need is a dedicated person but opening that structure is not yet justified.

Roles that work well in the hosted model
The strongest roles have recurring work, digital inputs and outputs, a named client manager, trainable procedures, measurable quality and enough stable demand for a full working schedule. Examples include:
- customer support and chat: trained ownership of defined channels, products, response standards and escalation paths;
- data and administrative operations: record maintenance, document processing, reporting, research and queue administration;
- bookkeeping support: controlled transaction preparation, reconciliations and documentation under the client’s finance approval structure;
- design and content production: repeated asset production inside a brand system and managed editorial queue;
- marketing operations: campaign setup, CRM hygiene, lists, reporting and publishing administration;
- lead research and sales development: account research, contact validation, approved outreach and CRM updates; and
- technical support: defined Tier 1 or Tier 2 categories with approved access, runbooks and escalation.
The model is a poor fit for work requiring physical presence with the client’s customers or assets, a local licence the employee does not hold, executive authority in the buyer’s jurisdiction, a few unpredictable hours per month, or an undefined “help with everything” role. It also fails when no client manager has time to set priorities or review work.
A buyer hiring several roles as one operating unit may need remote staffing services rather than a sequence of individual hosted placements. The distinction is decided in scope, not hidden after recruitment starts.
You interview and choose the person
- Write the role brief. Define outcomes, recurring tasks, decision limits, tools, hours, overlap, communication demands and evidence of competence.
- Set essential and trainable criteria. Separate requirements needed on day one from skills the client can teach. An inflated list slows selection and obscures the real work.
- Source against the brief. OVELITHUB searches the agreed market and presents the role honestly as a dedicated hosted assignment.
- Screen consistently. Candidates complete role-relevant questions, communication checks and practical assessments agreed in advance. Assessments should resemble the work and respect candidate time.
- Present evidence, not adjectives. The shortlist includes structured notes, availability, expectations and assessment output without claims that the evidence cannot support.
- Run client interviews. The client meets every finalist, can request a second interview and can decline any candidate. OVELITHUB does not substitute its preference for the client’s choice.
- Confirm and prepare. After acceptance and contracted checks, the parties agree the start date, onboarding plan, access, equipment and first review points.
The proposal also states the early-fit replacement commitment: the applicable window, qualifying conditions, recruitment steps, fee treatment and what happens to work during the gap. If the employee later resigns or becomes unavailable, OVELITHUB begins the agreed replacement process and supports documented handover where circumstances allow. A replacement commitment reduces recruitment friction; it cannot guarantee that a particular person never leaves.

Day one is prepared before the employee arrives
A signed offer is not an onboarding plan. Before the start, the workstation and agreed peripherals are assigned; operating system and device controls are configured; primary and backup connectivity are checked; required accounts have named owners; and client access is provisioned at the minimum role level. Shared credentials are not a shortcut for a late setup.
The written role brief, organisation context, process map, contact list, working hours, meeting rhythm, escalation routes, security rules and first-week tasks are available. The client names a daily role manager. OVELITHUB names an account manager for hosting, attendance, workplace and employment coordination.

A practical first week combines context, tool access, demonstrations, observed practice and small live tasks. Completion is recorded against access, security, role and process checkpoints. The employee should know not only how to complete a normal task, but when to stop and escalate an exception.
Detailed facility, equipment and redundancy questions belong to OVELITHUB’s remote employee hosting page. This page remains focused on buying and integrating the person.
Working hours and supervision are agreed, not assumed
The role brief states the local schedule, client time-zone overlap, breaks, holidays, meeting expectations and route for urgent changes. Full-time does not mean permanently on call. If the client needs rotating nights, weekends or extended coverage, that requirement affects candidate fit, local administration, backup and price and must be scoped before selection.
The client can use a daily stand-up, written check-in or its normal team rhythm. Work remains in the client’s ticketing, CRM, project or document system where appropriate. The manager reviews output against stated acceptance criteria, raises specific examples promptly and separates task coaching from formal employment action.
OVELITHUB’s account manager coordinates attendance and hosting issues and helps translate sustained performance evidence into the agreed process. Deeper ongoing supervision and productivity reporting belong to remote employee management; they are not silently included in a basic hosted seat.
The monthly fee is simple, but the comparison needs context
The quote combines the role’s compensation and contracted employment costs with workspace, standard equipment, connectivity, HR and payroll administration, account support and the hosting margin. Optional equipment, non-standard hours, additional checks, travel, specialised software, incentives and other agreed items are shown separately. OVELITHUB does not publish a rate until the role, schedule and equipment are understood.
A hosted employee will commonly cost more per working hour than the lowest marketplace freelancer because the fee supports a dedicated full-time commitment and employment infrastructure. The total can be lower than an equivalent in-country hire once the buyer includes local compensation and the infrastructure it would otherwise carry, but that is not universal. Role scarcity, seniority, location, benefits, currency and equipment can change the result.
The buyer should compare like with like: annual or monthly cash cost, recruitment time, management time, equipment, workspace, payroll and adviser cost, coverage during absence, knowledge loss, termination terms and replacement risk. OVELITHUB supplies one monthly proposal with inclusions and exclusions; the buyer validates it against its own direct-hire and freelance alternatives.
Security and offboarding follow the role, device and account
The access plan lists each client system, requested role, approval owner, provision date, authentication method, permitted data location and revocation owner. The hosted workstation uses the agreed configuration, endpoint controls and patching responsibility. Client files stay in approved client systems whenever possible, and exports, removable media, printing and personal applications follow the written rule.
Workspace controls do not replace application security. The client retains ownership of its identity, permissions and data policy. OVELITHUB handles the hosted environment and employee adherence within scope, reports suspected incidents through the agreed route and preserves available evidence. Security requirements that need specialised architecture or certification are validated before the role is offered.
On the last day, the parties execute a timed checklist: stop new task assignment, preserve and return work, transfer queue ownership and documents, revoke client accounts and sessions, recover the hosted device and access items, remove authorised local copies, and record completion. The client confirms its access closure; OVELITHUB completes the employment and workplace steps under the contracted arrangement.
A role should prove itself in the client’s operating system
The first review points are based on the work: onboarding completion, attendance, queue or task accuracy, communication, acceptance, rework, escalation and stakeholder feedback. No generic remote-productivity statistic can establish that this employee is effective. The client’s own evidence should.
OVELITHUB supports clients across the USA, Europe and the Middle East and brings operating discipline developed across 130+ delivered projects. That history informs recruitment and mobilisation, but it does not remove the need for a role-specific brief, client interview, local-structure review and measured probation or calibration period.
