Industry
Advisers, brokers and professional practices, where regulated wording and a long buying cycle shape everything the site is allowed to say.
What is different here
Required disclosures, risk warnings and approved wording have to be planned into the layout rather than appended to it.
Nobody appoints an adviser on a first visit. The material that does the work is the explanatory content people read three times before contacting anyone.
In professional services the firm is not the product. The individual is, and the site should say who they are.
Regulated wording is a layout problem as much as a legal one: disclosures and risk warnings have to be planned into the design so they are legible rather than bolted on in six-point grey. And because the buying cycle is long, the pages that do the persuading are rarely the home page; they are the explanatory pieces somebody reads twice before making contact.
No published case study in this sector yet. The nearest published work is the trust-sequencing on a high-value property platform, where careful wording and plain wording had to be the same sentence.

In a finance or professional firm the deliverable is the accuracy itself. There is no version of the work where a record is approximately right and everybody moves on, which makes the checking as much of the job as the entry — and makes an unchecked shortcut the most expensive thing on the desk.
So the procedure carries the verification inside it rather than after it, and the reporting names what was caught rather than only what was processed.
See BPO services for the operating model, and the data entry services guide for how accuracy is actually measured.
This work starts with the checks rather than the volume. What has to be verified, against what, and by whom — written down and agreed before anything moves. A desk built on that is slower in week one and materially more accurate by week four, which is the only trade worth making here.
Two commitments make this work safe to hand over: verification written into the procedure rather than bolted on afterwards, and confidentiality boundaries agreed in writing before any file moves. Both are conditions of starting rather than things to review later.

A paragraph is enough to start. A person reads it and replies within one working day with a scope, a price and an honest view of whether the work is worth doing at all.
