Senior Social Media Manager

Atiah Ferdaus

I make social accounts consistent enough to be recognised: one voice, a calendar somebody can actually keep to, and templates that still look right when they are used at speed on a Friday afternoon.

What I do here

I run social: the calendar, the creative, the voice and the inbox. The work is less about ideas than about consistency, a business that posts recognisably twice a week beats one that posts brilliantly and then disappears for a month.

How I work with a client

I start with what you can actually sustain, not with what a best-practice article recommends. Then I build templates so producing a post does not require a designer to be free, and a short voice guide so it does not require me either.

Each month I report what earned engagement and what earned enquiries, and when those two lists disagree, the calendar follows the second one.

Practical wins

  • Replaced posting with a calendar

A month planned against what the business actually sells, so the feed stops being whatever somebody thought of that morning.

  • Built templates the client can use

Brand-correct post templates handed over in the client's own design account, so routine posts never wait on an agency.

  • Made engagement accountable

Response times, saved posts and profile visits reported monthly, rather than a follower count that flatters everybody and tells nobody anything.

  • Said no to trend-chasing

A format that does not suit the business does not get used because it is doing well for somebody else's.

Strengths

Role-specific strengths

What Atiah is actually good at, rather than a list of everything the agency does.

A calendar that gets kept

A plan nobody can sustain is worse than no plan. The cadence is set from what your team can genuinely produce.

Templates that survive real use

Creative built so that the fifth post of the week still looks like the first, made by whoever is free.

One voice across accounts

The same business should not sound like three different companies depending on the platform.

On your project

Where this role touches your work

Named points in a project rather than a general promise of involvement, so you know who to expect and when.

  1. 01

    Setting the cadence

How often, on which platforms, and who supplies what. Usually less often than people expect and more consistently.

  2. 02

    Building the templates

So posting does not depend on a designer being available.

  3. 03

    Monthly review

What earned engagement, what earned enquiries, and the difference between the two.

How I work

What Atiah will tell you, including when it is unwelcome

The positions that cost us work sometimes. They are here because they are the ones worth knowing before you hire anybody.

  • Engagement is not the goal

It is a signal. If the posts that perform are not the posts that bring enquiries, the calendar changes.

  • Posting more is rarely the fix

Consistency and recognisability beat frequency, and they are cheaper to sustain.

  • Borrowed content will be noticed

Reposting without attribution is a short-term win and a long-term brand cost.
